Little Tokyo Marketplace
Has many shops there and you could buy stuff for souvenirs. There were many restaurants that you could go to for a meal.
Koyasan Buddhist Temple
It is sort of old looking in the front entrance. It behind like two building and there is like an alley you could take to get to the front. I didn't get to go inside because we were running out of time
Rafu Bussan
It is basically like a small marketplace that sells little items. On one side of the shop there is just dishes and cups.
Anzen Hardware
Bunka-do
This place sells different items ranging from dishes and also chopsticks. I bought chopsticks here for a souvenir which I think this a really good place to get things

Tokyo Japanese Outlet-Japanese Village Plaza
This place sells many different items like stuffed animals and other small items. I think this is a great place to get a souvenir for someone when you go to Little Tokyo.
Marukai Market-Weller Court
It is a medium sized marketplace and it sells all kinds of items. It sells some antique dishes and also regular grocery items too. I couldn't take any pictures because they told us not too.
Kinokuniya Bookstore-Weller Court
This place is on the second floor of Weller Court. Has many books including manga books and other Japanese books. They also sell in part of the store erasors, Japanese writing brushes and lot other stuff.
Miikawaya-Japanese Village Plaza
Mikawaya is an Japanese Ice Cream shop and this was the place I liked the most. They sell different flavor ice cream and my favorite, Mochi ball ice cream.
Fugestsudo-Japanese Village Plaza
Fugestsudo sell all kinds of treats. I saw they had different Japanese snacks and treats. Like they had my favorite one, Pocky.
Statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya
It is a black statue with a person holding a book who is Kinjiro Ninomiya. The statue is in front of a bank
Tako Yaki-Mitsuru Cafe
Tako yaki is also another thing they sell at Mitsuru Cafe. Tako yaki is like a little ball filled with usually octupus and other things. It seemed like the batter was kind of like a pancake. I didn't get to try this.
Imagawayaki-Mitsuru Cafe
An imagawayaki is a Japanese dessert that they sell at Mitsuru Cafe. Well I think it kind of looks like a pancake filled with this sweet filling inside of it. I didn't get to eat it though.
Kyoto Grand Hotel-Restaurant and Japanese Garden
It is a very tall building and you could go on the top where there is a huge Japanese garden. I liked the Japanese garden because it was very peaceful.
Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple
It is an Buddhist Temple and is kind of old looking from the outside. I didn't go inside because it wasn't open yet. I thought it was kind of interesting.

Japanese American Community Cultural Center-Japanese Garden
It has many different plants there and very peaceful there. There is a little creek going around the garden and has little waterfalls. I thought it is a very quiet place if you need somewhere to think.
Go for Broke Monument
This monument was made for Japanese-American veterans in World War 2. It is kind of large monument. I thought it was very inspirational and really beautifully made.
Ellison Onizuka Monument-Weller Court
Is an memorial for Ellison Onizuka, who was an Japanese astronaut. It is located in Weller Court and is a black box like figure. I thought it standed out and very interesting.

Little Tokyo

I went to Little Tokyo with my Japanese class. We took a train there and I had to sit with my asian friend, Andrew( I am asian too!). It was very fun and I found this cool dessert, Mochi Balls.
